Fo Guang Shan International Translation Center (FGSITC)
Buddha’s Light Publications is tied to the Fo Guang Shan Humanistic Buddhist order based in Taiwan, as such we are connected to the many facets of that Order. We invite you to check out our sister company, Fo Guang Shan International Translation Center’s website. Here you can find booklets and books available for small donations that directly support the outreaches of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist order.
Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA)
The Buddha’s Light International Association is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) whose mission statement is based on the promotion of Humanistic Buddhism. The BLIA applies the tenets of Humanistic Buddhism to benefit society through promoting education, raising gender equality, providing medical services and emergency relief and environmental sustainability. BLIA offers multiple opportunities for volunteering and community service, if you are interested in serving your community and becoming a representative of Humanistic Buddhism check them out.
University of the West is a WASC accredited university offering a diverse range of graduate and undergraduate programs. It is a Buddhist focused university with a unique Masters in Divinity and Buddhist Chaplaincy.
